Here's a Step-By-Step Guide For Booking
Step 1: The Inquiry
Send us a message via email or our website’s inquiry form with your wedding, elopement, or lifestyle session details. We'll get back to you usually within a few hours!
Step 2: The Consultation
We’ll schedule a free consultation, either over the phone, via video chat, or in person, to discuss your vision and what you’re looking for in your photos.
During this meeting, we’ll go over the details, like locations, style, and any special requests you have. For weddings, we’ll also discuss package options and extra services.
Step 2: Custom Proposal
After our consultation, you’ll receive a personalized proposal with a breakdown of services, pricing, and any extras you’re interested in. This will give you all the information you need to decide, and you’ll have plenty of time to review and ask questions.
Step 4: Secure Your Date
Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send you a contract to sign, along with a retainer fee (25% of your total cost) to reserve your date. After we’ve received the signed contract and payment, you’ll get a confirmation email with all the details.
Step 5: Planning & Communication
From here, we’ll work together on planning your session or wedding. We’ll provide location suggestions, outfit tips, and any other guidance you need. If it’s an elopement, we’ll also help with logistics, like location scouting, to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Step 6: Pre-Session Consultation
Before your shoot, we’ll have a pre-session chat to go over the timeline, locations, and any special requests you have for your photos. We’ll also send you out "What To Wear Guide" to help with outfit ideas and weather considerations to ensure everything is perfect.
Step 7: The Big Day
On the day of your wedding or elopement, we’ll arrive early and capture every moment—from the first look to the final celebration. We’ll guide you on posing, but our focus is on making you feel relaxed and letting authentic, candid moments unfold.
Step 8: Post-Session
After the session or wedding, we’ll get to work on editing your photos, incorporating our signature vintage-inspired style to create timeless, beautiful images. You’ll receive a sneak peek of a few photos within a week, and your full gallery will be ready within 6-8 weeks.
Step 9: Final Delivery
Once your gallery is ready, we’ll send you a link to download your high-resolution images, which you can share with friends and family or print for your home. We’ll check in afterward to ensure you’re happy with your photos and experience, as your satisfaction is our top priority.
Step 10: Album & Print Options
If you’ve chosen an album, we’ll help you pick the perfect design and layout to tell your story. We also offer print options for high-quality keepsakes, so you can display your memories in your home.
FAQ
What if we want something more extreme for our elopement (hiking, diving, etc)?
No activities and locations are off the table. I love to hike and explore new areas or visit old areas! I also have no problem climbing up hills, cliffs, or standing in frigid water to get that perfect shot or beautiful light. If you have a more extreme or unusual idea for your elopement, I’d love to hear it and see how we can bring it to life. The more details you share, the better we can plan it.
How long does it take to receive the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?
Around 2 weeks after your elopement you will receive a sneak peak gallery with up to 40 photo highlights, that you can share with family and friends, post on social media, etc. Two months after that you will receive the entire photo collection as well as instructions on how to order prints, choose photos for an album, etc.
Do we need a wedding officiant for our elopement?
There’s no wrong or right answer here. Some couples choose to tie the knot legally on their elopement day, others only do it for the photos and take care of the legal paper work before/after.
We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?
More than okay, it’s an absolute must! Including your furry family members makes for such beautiful and fun memories. We can try to include your dog into the actual wedding ceremony, as well as the formal family portraits. Just bring lots of treats for them!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
There are no travel expenses within 150 miles of Seattle, WA. Outside of that any other locations within US or abroad are discussed and confirmed individually.
Can I have unedited/RAW photos/videos?
The short answer is no, I do not give the RAW files of any kind. Here is why; RAW files are completely unedited and hold a massive amount of data that allows me to enhance a photo or video file beyond its current RAW state. This is what allows an image or video to be edited into something special and beautiful and come alive! When you book with me you are also purchasing my artistic vision and style.
