Ursula and Jack’s engagement session at Flowing Lake County Park was the perfect mix of evergreen forest, quiet lakeside trails, and soft Pacific Northwest light.

A little bit of their story

Jack and Ursula met at the tail end of their freshman year at UVM in 2014 through their respective ski teams—Jack on the freeski team and Ursula on the club race team. Friends for a year, they started dating in 2015 and continued skiing nearly as much as studying.

After college, their story took them through one cross-country move to Bellingham, a year of long distance, a stint together in Montana, and are now finding solid ground back in Bellingham. Through several job changes, a few degrees, and too many address changes to count, they’ve loved exploring, biking, skiing, camping, and cooking together wherever they have settled.

They’re getting married this August, and I’m so excited to get to document their wedding day, too.
